From the moment Karl Lagerfeld unveiled his Fall/Winter 2013 runway – a breathtaking scene dominated by a monumental illuminated globe – this minaudière became an instant icon. Conceived as a wearable sculpture, the Chanel Globe is a rare fusion of art, wit, and haute craftsmanship.

Hand-crafted in lustrous black plexiglass, its perfect sphere is traced with polished gridlines, evoking the meridians and parallels of a world map. At its heart, the oversized interlocking CC emerges in matte black – subtle yet unmistakable – a symbol recognized in every corner of the globe.

The minaudière opens along a discreetly hinged seam to reveal a compact, jewel-box interior, suspended from a supple black metal leather-woven chain. Every element – from the seamless curvature to the tactile interplay of gloss and matte – reflects Chanel’s mastery of the unexpected.
